Meagan Guss is the Program Coordinator for the Program in Criminal Justice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Labor Relations from Rutgers University in May 2016 and her Masters degree in Education, Culture and Society in August 2020. Aside from being a triple major at Rutgers, Meagan worked as one of the Student Managers of the Busch and Livingston Student Centers. It was here that she developed a love for working at Higher Education Institutions. In the summer of her Junior year, she interned at the New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office where she performed data entry, digitization and administrative work. She was also involved in helping out the Program in Criminal Justice by proctoring exams for classes, providing office support during the summer, and assisting in the CJ Senior Celebration. In her Senior year, she was a founding "father" of the first ever Rutgers Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma. Once official, Meagan served as the Vice President of the Honor Society.

After graduating, Meagan moved to Massachusetts for a year where she worked as the Administrative Assistant for the College of Holy Cross' Annual Fund. The Fund is responsible for accepting unrestricted donations from alumni, and distributing this money for various departments. There she served as the coordinator for the class letter program, and was the liaison for the graduating classes of '48-'52.

Since beginning her role with the Program in Criminal Justice, Meagan has become the advisor for the Criminal Justice Organization and the Honor Society, which she says is her favorite part because she loves working with such hard working students. Meagan also enjoys working with such stellar Program faculty who are involved in world-renowned and national projects and research, as well as being able to advise and guide students in the program to succeed in their major and beyond Rutgers.
