Graduating Seniors

Commencement Ceremony Information

The Program in Criminal Justice will be hosting a Senior Recognition Ceremony, where we will be recognizing and paying tribute to each of our graduating seniors individually, as well as awarding our departmental honors. The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018; immediately following will be a reception where light refreshments will be served.  The ceremony is open to graduating seniors who have completed the Criminal Justice major requirements and have registered with S.A.S. for a graduation date of January 2018, May 2018, or October 2018.

We are requiring advanced RSVP for all seniors interested in attending the ceremony.  Students must fill out and submit the RSVP Form by Monday, April 23, 2018 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will respond as soon as we can.  Late RSVP's should be sent to TBD immediately; RSVP Forms must be sent before attending the ceremony in order to generate a marching name card.

This year an integrated commencement ceremony for all School of Arts and Sciences departments will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2017.  We encourage everyone to attend the S.A.S. event, which will be held at 3:00pm at the High Points Solutions Stadium on Busch Campus.  More information can be found at http://convocation.sas.rutgers.edu.

Senior Year Information

Senior year is a very busy time for most students, and is filled with deadlines, dates, tasks, requirements, and appointments. It can be very easy for students to become overwhelmed or to possibly miss deadlines. Seniors should read through this section very carefully to ensure that they have filled out all the necessary paperwork, completed all the necessary registrations, and met all the deadlines in a timely manner.
